Stevenage is a town with incredible potential, a rich history, and a vibrant community. But like many towns across the UK, we are facing critical gaps that hold us back from our best possible future. We see youth struggling to access the advanced digital skills needed for modern careers. We see small businesses fighting hard for visibility in an increasingly online world. And we hear residents asking for stronger connections with their local leaders.
It’s time to bridge those gaps.
We are thrilled to introduce the Stevenage Innovation Circle (SIC)
What is SIC? Led by Councillor Akin Elekolusi and presented by the London Tilcareer Institute UK, SIC is a new initiative designed to address these three community challenges simultaneously. Our vision is a Stevenage where a digitally skilled generation, thriving small businesses, and engaged community leaders collaborate to create a model of local innovation.
Our Three Core Pillars We aren’t just talking about change; we are delivering concrete programs to make it happen through three key pillars:
-
Youth Empowerment: Through our AI & Innovation Academy, we are equipping young people with the tools they need to build future-ready careers.
-
Business Strengthening: Our Small Business Support Clinic will provide SMEs with digital transformation workshops, AI marketing strategies, and crucial visibility.
-
Community Connection: We are facilitating regular, meaningful dialogue between residents, business owners, and councillors to ensure everyone’s voice is heard.
Join the Next Chapter The goal of SIC is to create a more connected, included, and informed Stevenage. Whether you are a student ready to learn, a business owner ready to grow, or a resident ready to engage, there is a place for you here.
